Jeremy Wong – Optometrist
It is not very often you find a person that can effortlessly work between many aspects of our industry as Jeremy can. A first rate, therapeutically qualified Optometrist with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Sports Vision training is Jeremys’ specific field of expertise. He has helped many prime athletes over the years achieve better results and has been a contributor to NZ Triathlete Magazine and Golf Update. Jeremy is the only Sports Vision specialist in Auckland accredited by High Performance Sports NZ.
Jeremy is a stylish man that can see the style in others when assisting with frame selection for eyewear.
Jeremy’s passion in life is photography, his Instagram @eyeguysphotos is filled with a variety of amazing images from his travels and of course his very photogenic dog, Otis.

John Adam - Optometrist
John Adam is a highly experienced optometrist with over 40 years of practice, having trained at Auckland University. He is dedicated to providing honest and appropriate advice on vision and eye health, with a specialty in contact lens fitting, particularly for patients with keratoconus. His strong rapport with patients and close collaboration with local ophthalmologists have contributed to excellent outcomes in patient care.
Currently, he serves as a trustee for Macular Degeneration NZ, focusing on management.
Outside of his professional life, John values family time, particularly with his grandchildren. He enjoys overseas travel with his wife, and has a keen interest in golf.

Angela Garner - Optometrist
Upon graduating Angela first worked at Auckland Hospital, working within pathology forging close relationships with Opthalmologists. One year later, in 1994 Angela joined the team at Gates eyewear, and has been here ever since.
In her down time, Angela loves spending quality time with her family, and keeping her garden pristine.

Ammaarah Khan - Optometrist
Ammaarah was inspired to pursue a career in Optometry after gaining a passion for biology which at school and had a deep-seated desire to positively impact peoples lives.
Ammaarah has several interest areas in optometry, these include myopia management, Ortho K, and paediatric optometry. She combines cutting-edge knowledge with a compassionate approach to ensure the best possible eye care for every patient.
Outside of the clinic, Ammaarah unwinds with a good mystery thriller, indulges in baking delights, and explores Auckland in search of the perfect brunch spot.

Dallace Wulf - Practice Manager

As the Practice Manager, Dallas oversees daily operations, fosters a collaborative work environment, and stays up-to-date with industry advancements to enhance the overall patient experience.
Outside of work Dallace enjoys listening to true crime podcasts and anything related to mysteries and detective stories. She enjoys going for walks and getting coffee. A self-proclaimed spice enthusiast, Dallace loves discovering new restaurants, especially those that challenge their taste buds with fiery dishes.

Sarah Bale - Practice Coordinator
Trained in NZ as a first-rate style consultant, Sarah takes clients on a journey to the edge of their comfort zone to provide a style choice that will leave a lasting impression.
Her sharp responses inspire great confidence in the clients to make a bold new statement.
The store runs smooth at the hands of Sarah’s great managerial awareness. Empathy, efficiency, and customer care are at the core of her values.
Outside of work Sarah enjoys socialising, family and creative endeavors.

Lee Pittard - Eyewear Specialist
Trained in the UK, Lee has an encyclopaedic knowledge of lenses and has an amazing eye for eyewear. Lee is technically skilled in the complex fitting and adjustments required to make complex prescriptions work.
Tackling the most demanding spectacle prescriptions to tailor a pair of spectacles to a patient’s need. It is Lee’s innate ability to be able to take a client from mediocre to amazing with his bespoke tailored service that has seen him loved by so many clients.
Outside work Lee enjoys a good motorcycle tour, sailing, music and film. Lee is a Dad to two teenagers and his dog, Tyson.

Alice Hassan - Eyewear Specialist
Alice arrived in New Zealand in 2019 from the UK. Alice has 11 years of optical experience and is passionate about all areas of eyecare and eyewear. Her friendly manner makes her a pleasure to be around and her clients love her.
Outside of work, Alice loves exploring her new home country and spends a lot of time creating in the kitchen with her flair for baking.
